Please join us on May 23rd for a very special event as we recognize Christian D. for reaching the rank of Eagle Scout.  The ceremony will be held at the same time and place as our our regular Troop Meeting.  Christian has been very involved with Scouting for many years, and this ceremony marks the pinnacle of his Scouting career. Parents and Scouts alike are encouraged to help celebrate this special day with Christian and his family. Scouts, please wear your Class A uniform to this event.

Our May Troop Committee meeting will be held Thursday, May 30, at 7:00 PM at the Church of the Epiphany Lighthouse.  Due to conflicting activities on our normal committee meeting date, we will hold the May committe meeting during the regularly scheduled May 30th Troop meeting. 

Sam K. will be conducting his Eagle service project on Saturday, June 1, from 8:00 AM-Finish at the Owl Creek subdivision Track and Soccer Field.  Sam will be constructing benches, so please bring gloves, hammers and cordless screwdrivers if you have them.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and Scouts will earn service hours that will apply for rank advancement.  We hope to see you there!!

Come help Sheridan S. with his Eagle Service Project on Saturday, June 8th, at Jane Hite Elementary School.  Sheridan's project will be to construct outdoor benches on the left side of the school.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and service hours count toward rank advancement requirements.  The project begins at 8:00 AM, and please bring gloves, cordless tools and meauring tapes if you have them.

It’s time to start making your plans now for 2013 Summer Camp!  We have reserved camp site #1 at Camp Roy C. Manchester for the week of June 23-29, 2013 for Scout Camp this summer (it’s very close to the dining hall and activities this year!).  The camp looks like it will be an exciting and fun opportunity for everyone, as it offers three great programs to choose from:

It is time to begin the recharter process again!  Details are on the attached page, but basically the cost is $55 per scout for the next year.  The money is due by November 15th.  This covers the dues for Council, awards, etc.
