Zach Nyitrai's project is to put in drainage piping and a dry pond in at Hite Elemnatary. He needs as much help as possible so i think at least fifteen to twenty scouts in our troop should show up. Zach needs scouts and adults to bring shovels, rakes, gloves, sunscreen, and a well mannered Scout Attitude. Doughnuts and Lunch will be provided.

For all Scouts attending summer camp, the next $100 per Scout payment is due April 26.  Please follow this link to pay using Paypal (preferred method), or you can send a check (payable to BSA Troop 71) with your Scout to this Thursday's troop meeting.  If you have funds in your Scout account that you would like to apply toward your summer camp payment, please contact Mr. Trumbo so he can accurately track your payment.

Ground transportation fees for the Philmont crews will be $304 per person and is due now (the Troop must mail a check for the balance by May 1) .  You can submit your payment online by clicking here.

Since our next Troop Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 24, at the Owl Creek Country Club at 12400 Osage Road in Anchorage (please check the calendar entry for direction).  We will plan upcoming events, discuss policies, and work on ways to improve the Scouting experience for all boys.  All adults are invited to attend.
